Of all of his poetry I like the most about love poems Esenina. One of the best collections of his love lyrics is the famous series of "Persian motifs" (1924-1925). It reflected the poet's impressions of the trip to Azerbaijan.

Famous British writers and their works

1.Listening (Listen and retell)

Britain is home to many popular writers. One of them, William Shakespeare, is one of my favourite British writers.

William Shakespeare was born and raised in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire.

While still a teenager of nineteen, he married Anne Hathaway, a farmer's daughter some years older than himself. In 1587 Shakespeare went to work in London where he began to act and to write plays. And after that he became a famous poet and actor.

Shakespeare's sonnets and plays, such as "Romeo and Juliet", "Hamlet", etc., have become so popular that they are studied in schools in almost all countries. The fact is that Shakespeare's works are still relevant today.

That's why William Shakespeare is a beloved British poet not only for me, but for most people in general.

Music in our life

1.Writting ex.1(p.138-139)

2.Learning new words on p.138-139 and reading

Music... It seems to me that all people like to listen to different music in some moments of their life. We hear music everywhere: in the street, in the cinema,  and on TV at home. A lot of people like to dance to music or to sing something,or to play music instruments and even to compose music pieces themselves. There are music lessons at school and kindergartens. Many capable children can learn at music schools if they are fond of music. Music accompanies people all their life. It reflects their feelings and emotions. Some people prefer visiting opera and ballet theatres, a lot of people visit different kinds of concerts but both theatres and concerts make a great impression on spectators. There are different styles in music: folk, classical and modern and most of them are popular in our country.

In my opinion it is difficult to live without music, music is really something that distracts people from daily routine.

Britain has rich musical traditions. Many famous composers and singers were born and performed in Britain.
Henry Purcell (1659—1695), a prominent British composer, lived in the 17th century. He was the founder of the British Opera. His opera “King Arthur” was very popular with spectators. The main idea of this opera was the struggle for the independence of Britain.
The great influence of Henry Purcell is seen today in the works of Benjamin Britten. B. Britten is a well-known British composer (1913—1976). He has composed a large amount of music of all kinds, among them operas and choral works. His music is very expressive. One of his greatest works is the opera “Peter Grimes”. It’s an exciting story about a poor fisherman who was falsy accused and driven out of his native village.
Britain also has good traditions of folk music. There are traditional folk clubs in most towns.
Modern music is also of great popularity. The most talented and famous composers of contemporary life are John Lennon and Paul McCartney — the founders of the legendary group “The Beatles”, whose music still influences new generations.
